Following our selection criteria for eCommerce products, we only order a small quantity to test. No more ordering 1000 pieces and getting stuck with unsold inventory. We buy a small quantity of each product and that allows us to test fast with many different products. With this strategy, we are able to do our market research fast with real live data.

If you're wondering what the best eCommerce platform is for your company, here's a checklist of features you'll need:
- Support major payment gateways like PayPal, 2Checkout, or Google Wallet. You want to make it as easy as possible for customers to buy from you.
- Well-designed and simple to use. It should also come with an inventory management system in case you're selling lots of different products.
- Provide you with all the tools you need to target your customers and make sales.
- Look for features like dynamic coupons, product reviews and ratings, social sharing, customizable templates to fit your company image, bulk email marketing tools, and much more.
It depends on your goal and your target market for your e-commerce business. Typically not more than USD1000 will be required to start selling.
It's good to have but not necessary. Especially when you are just testing the product to see the market interest. A simple polybag with a sticker logo is good enough.
Amazon charges a referral fee of 15% of the product’s selling price along with 2 other fees which include fulfillment fees and inventory management fees.
